Two Richmond, Va., financial planners managing more than $500 million in assets have joined St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James & Associates.

Raymond James announced on Monday the addition of C. Kemper Wharton and M. Todd Oney to its traditional employee broker-dealer. The pair will operate as Wharton Oney of Raymond James.

Wharton and Oney have operated as a partnership since 1999. Prior to joining Raymond James & Associates, the pair worked with Merrill Lynch.

Both men hold CFP certification marks.

Oney and Wharton are joined by Rangeley Turner, registered senior client service associate, and Margaret Grey, registered client service associate, in their Richmond location.

Raymond James Financial, the parent company of Raymond James & Associates, now manages $649 billion in client assets.
