St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James announced on Monday the addition of two West Hartford, Conn.-based financial advisors to Raymond James & Associates, its broker-dealer subsidiary.

Marty Carroll and Jennifer Carroll, a husband-and-wife team, join Raymond James from Merrill Lynch, where they managed approximately $160 million in client assets.

Marty Carroll is a 19-year veteran of the financial services industry while Jennifer Carroll began her career as an advisor in 2015, after spending 18 years working for non-profit organizations with a particular focus on disability advocacy.

Joining the pair at Raymond James will be Jodi-Lynne Michaud, a senior client service associate that has worked along side Marty Carroll for more than 11 years.

Tom Galvin, North Atlantic regional director for Raymond James & Associates, said in released comments that the additions are part of the firm’s efforts to expand into the northeast.

“As Raymond James continues strategic growth in the Northeast, we are proud that our firm remains a destination for top advisors like Marty and Jen,” said Galvin.
