Raymond James Adds Former Merrill Team In Virginia
Raymond James & Associates this week announced it hired four ex-Bank of America Merrill Lynch advisors in Virginia Beach, continuing its recent hiring spree of advisors from competing firms.

Robert Krebs, Brian Pennell, Jennifer Duffy and Sandra Peters now work under the company name of Blue Ocean Wealth Advisors. The team held $250 of assets under management while at Merrill. The principals said they chose Raymond James because of its client services.

Kelly Martin and Teddy Cabral, Blue Ocean client service associates, also are part of the organization.

Krebs is a senior vice president of investments with 19 years in the industry, and Pennell is a senior vice president of investments and a certified investment management analyst with 22 years experience. Duffy is a senior vice president of investments with 21 years in the industry, and Peters is a vice president with 12 years experience.

Blue Ocean Wealth Advisors of Raymond James provides financial services for 150 families. Raymond James & Associates Inc., the employee broker-dealer of Raymond James Financial Inc., has 5,400 financial advisors serving 2 million accounts.

Also this week, the company announced it added two Morgan Stanley Smith Barney advisors and one UBS Financial Services advisor to its Miami complex.
