Raymond James has hired ex-Edward Jones husband-and-wife duo that previously managed nearly $260 million in client assets, according to a news release.

Kevin Okim and Deborah Okim, who operate Reston, Va.-based Okim Wealth Management, have joined Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), the firm’s independent advisor channel. Their team includes client service associates Elizabeth Mendoza and Michelle Roof. They provide comprehensive financial planning to clients, specializing in business owners, multigenerational families, healthcare professionals and corporate retirement plans, the release said.

Kevin Okim had been with Edward Jones since 2005 and Deborah Okim had been with the firm since 2004, according to BrokerCheck.

St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James has about 8,700 financial advisors throughout the U.S., Canada and overseas. It has about $1.26 trillion in client assets as of Sept. 30.
