Florida-based financial services company Raymond James, has appointed Gavin Murrey, a senior managing director, as co-head of the firm’s Public Finance/Debt Investment Banking division. Murrey will continue in his role as senior managing director for the division and for the South Central region. 
 
Murrey joined the firm in 2012 after the firm’s acquisition of Morgan Keegan, which he had joined in 1998. Murrey oversees the division’s largest region, with bankers in Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Illinois. He will continue serving existing clients as an active banker, in addition to his new role.
