Charles Isaacs and David Paller, operating as Isaacs & Paller Wealth Management of Raymond James, have joined Raymond James & Associates (RJA), the firm’s employee advisor channel, in Woodland Hills, Calif., according to a news release.

The team, which includes financial advisor Thomas Rockel and senior client service associate Stella Llamas, was formerly with UBS, where they managed more than $360 million in client assets for a wide range of clients that included entertainment executives.

“As Raymond James continues to expand in the West, particularly in California, we’re proud to welcome high-caliber financial advisors like David and Charles as a part of Raymond James, representing our firm in this important market,” Pat Allison, division director for RJA, said in the news release.

Isaacs, senior vice president, investments, has more than 33 years of industry experience. He began his financial services career in 1986 at EF Hutton, later spending 22 years at Smith Barney. He then transitioned to UBS, where he remained for the past 11 years before joining Raymond James. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wilkes University.

Paller has worked in the financial services industry for more than 32 years. Before joining Raymond James, he worked at UBS Financial Services for over 11 years, and prior to that, Merrill Lynch for four years. He graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a bachelor’s in international relations.

Paller said that after performing their due diligence, he and Isaacs decided that RJA was the best choice for their practice and its clients.

“We were looking at several firms, but Raymond James continued to be the leading choice for us,” Paller said in the news release. “We wanted our team and our clients to be able to benefit from our partnership with Raymond James and the resources available. We’re pleased we made the transition when we did and are confident that it was the right move for us.”
