Raymond James has added two new team members formerly with Wells Fargo Advisors.

Betty Schutte-Box and Troy Yenser have joined Raymond James & Associates (RJA) in Richmond, Va. Schutte-Box and Yenser will operate as Schutte & Yenser Wealth Management of Raymond James. The two currently manage approximately $222 million in client assets for physicians, business owners and individuals who have received sudden wealth.

Raymond James & Associates, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Fla., is a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial with approximately 7,800 financial advisors located throughout the United States, Canada and overseas, overseeing total clients assets of $753 billion.

Schutte-Boxer has more than 25 years of financial industry experience, beginning at Farland Investment Management. She later joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor before moving over to Wells Fargo. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.

Yenser embarked on a career in financial services at Edward Jones in 2009 before also moving over to Wells Fargo. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the College of William & Mary.

Schutte-Box said that she and Yenser felt that Raymond James would allow them to focus on the investment management and planning side of their business.

“We were looking for a firm that we felt was on the cutting edge of technology and planning software for our clients, and we were very impressed by the culture,” she said.

Yenser said that the move would enable the two partners to better serve their clients' needs.

“Raymond James offers us the resources and tools to help us do just that,” he said.
