A veteran Merrill Lynch team that managed more than $675 million in client assets has moved to Raymond James & Associates’ employee advisor channel in Minneapolis, according to a news release today.

Financial advisors Joel Moline, Scott Mercer, Bassem Abou-Zeid and John Sullivan operate as the Moline Mercer Wealth Management Group of Raymond James. They are joined by senior client service associate Gina Sedlacek and senior registered client service associate Michele Weiss.

Moline, managing director, who has 35 years of financial services experience, said Raymond James's strong client-centric culture and the independence it affords advisors to run their businesses allow the team to focus on serving their clients and their wealth management needs.

“Raymond James has continued to invest in resources that support our work with clients, including advanced technology tools. We’re excited to join Raymond James and further elevate our client offerings and service,” he said in a statement.

Mercer, senior vice president for investments, began his career at Morgan Stanley in 2002 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2005, according to his BrokerCheck profile. Abou-Zeid, vice president of investments, started at Citigroup Global Markets in 2005 and moved to Merrill Lynch in 2008. Sullivan, associate vice president of investments, joined the team in 2016.
