Reilly Financial Advisors, a fee-only RIA based in La Mesa, Calif., has appointed Tom Weary to the position of chief investment officer, according to a news release.
Weary will lead the firm’s investment committee and oversee its portfolio management department.
Weary has more than three decades of market experience managing portfolios for mutual funds, pension plans, insurance company reserves and high-net-worth families. He most recently served as CIO at Lau Associates, the family office unit of Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation.
Weary graduated from Harvard University with an honors degree in philosophy.
