Retirement & Investment Group has joined the LPL Financial platform.

Formerly with Raymond James, the Catonsville, Md.-based firm brings $200 million in client brokerage and advisory assets (AUA) to the LPL RIA platform.

“I believe LPL’s capabilities will allow me to keep operating costs down, while also being able to maximize productivity and access resources that will make a difference in the support we provide,” said Tom Quirk, president of Retirement & Investment Group.

Quirk, who built his company over the past 24 years primarily through customer referrals, expressed excitement about the integration features in LPL’s ClientWorks platform.

“I can automate investment analysis and produce reports, which makes it easier on my end and provides a quality experience for my clients,” Quirk said. “Those types of opportunities have the potential to add a lot of value to our practice.”

Rich Steinmeier, LPL financial managing director and divisional president, business development, said his firm is proud to partner with Retirement & Investment Group.

“Investing in technology is a key focus for our firm, and we will continue to evolve our offering so that our advisors can increase efficiency, enabling them to spend more time with their clients,” Steinmeier said.
