RGT Wealth Advisors, a registered investment advisor (RIA) headquartered im Dallas, has promoted Joe Nolan to the newly created position of president, the company announced.

The announcement said that Jeremy Hudson, managing director and chair of the firm's financial planning policy committee, will succeed Nolan as chief planning officer, while retaining his current duties.

An industry veteran with 28 years of service with RGT, Nolan previously served as controller for the Dallas Cowboys. He got his start as a senior tax accountant for Arthur Anderson, which he joined in 1987 after graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington – College of Business with a bachelor of business administration (B.B.A.) degree in accounting.

A subsidiary of Canadian wealth manager CI Financial, RGT Wealth Advisors LLC was founded in 1985 and provides wealth management and investment management services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices throughout the United States. The firm oversees about $5.5 billion in assets under management (AUM).
