Of late, Edelman has been involved in his new venture, Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals (DACFP), which is devoted to teaching financial advisors about blockchain and digital assets. “Showing them how to incorporate that into their practices, how to provide advice to clients,” he said, adding that they offer a certificate course in blockchain and digital asset, and more than 1,000 advisors have already enrolled and 400 have completed the program.

Edelman, the author of 10 books on personal finance, also produces a monthly subscription newsletter. His next book, The Truth About Crypto, is due out in May. In addition,  he has been engaged in a lot of keynote presentations and consulting to businesses.

The Truth About Your Future with Ric Edelman will initially air in 24 cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Boston, and Philadelphia. In addition to the weekly show, Edelman also will do a podcast. The show, he said, also will be simultaneously videocast and produced for YouTube.

Separately, Edelman Financial Engines announced that the firm is launching a new radio show and podcast that examines the most important and topical financial decisions affecting people. The program, Everyday Wealth, will continue the legacy of The Ric Edelman Show and will be hosted by journalists Jean Chatzky and Soledad O’Brien, the announcement said.

The hour-long program will begin January 1 and air every weekend in 75 markets across the country, including New York, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and will also be available to listeners via the major podcast platforms.
