Robertson Stephens Wealth Management LLC, an independent registered investment advisor in San Francisco, has acquired Vine Street Wealth Management, a Mill Valley, Calif.-based RIA managing $150 million in client assets, the company announced today.

Vine Street co-founders John Bernabei and Zack Perry established the firm in 2014, which specializes in investment management, comprehensive wealth planning services and outsourced CFO solutions.

Under terms of the acquisition, Bernabei and Perry will join Robertson Stephens as managing directors and continue to service their existing clients, while growing their new client base with a much larger platform, Robertson Stephens said. Schwab Advisory Services will continue to act as the primary custodian for Vine Street's client investment assets.

“Adding Vine Street to our San Francisco office allows us to deepen our connections in the Bay Area,” Stuart Katz, CEO and CIO of Roberson Stephens, said in a news release. “We’re tremendously excited to be growing together for years to come.”

With the addition of Vine Street, Robertson Stephens now has $1.3 billion in client assets. The firm operates four office locations nationwide in San Francisco; New York City; Sun Valley, Idaho; and Holmdel, N.J.
