Rockefeller Capital Management has added Giorgetti Wealth Partners, a Boston-based team of three advisors that managed $1.5 billion at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., according to a news release.
The trio includes Matthew Giorgetti, managing director; and Eric Vanderpool and Ryan Quinn, both vice presidents. The team will report to Joe Roberts, managing director and head of wealth strategy at Rockefeller Capital Management, the release noted.
Giorgetti began his career in 2005 with Morgan Stanley and moved to UBS Financial Services in 2008. He left in 2011 and had not been registered as a broker with any other firms, according to BrokerCheck. His bio on the Rockefeller website said he joined BBH in 2011, where he served as a senior vice president, senior relationship manager in the private bank.
Vanderpool and Quinn first registered in the industry in May with First Republic Securities Company LLC, according to BrokerCheck. Both previously had been with BBH; Vanderpool since 2012 and Quinn since 2013, and held the title of assistant vice president, relationship manager, according to their LinkedIn pages.
The trio, according to a published report, left BBH in February and was headed for First Republic prior to its collapse. Giorgetti was serving a Garden leave and Vanderpool and Quinn signed on with First Republic from May 10 to May 23, according to BrokerCheck. Rockefeller declined to confirm the report.
