Rockefeller Capital Management today announced that the Puget Sound Group, a Bellevue, Wash.-based firm with nearly $l billion in assets, has joined its global family office business, according to a news release.
The five-member team, formerly with Morgan Stanley and led by Nick Paget, founder and managing director and private wealth advisor, offers high-touch service to wealthy individuals, families, private businesses and foundations, according to the Puget website.
The team includes Nicole Schafer, senior vice president and private wealth advisor; Forrest St. John Kim, vice president and private wealth advisor; Karen Henderson, assistant vice president and team operations manager; and Tori Fanning, assistant vice president and financial planning analyst.
Paget, who had been with Morgan Stanley since 2005, began his career in 2002 with RBC Dain Rauscher Inc., according to BrokerCheck. He has been named to Forbes’ “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” list since 2018. According to this year’s listing, Paget’s firm managed $999 million with a $3 million minimum account size for new businesses.
Nicole Schafer began her career in 2006 with Piper Jaffray in 2006. That same year, she moved to UBS Financial Services, where she spent eight months before moving to Citigroup Global Markets in 2007. She joined Morgan Stanley in 2009. Forrest St. John Kim joined Morgan Stanley in 2015.
The Puget Sound Group is the 77th team to join the Rockefeller private wealth division since its creation in 2018. The New York City-based Rockefeller Capital Management has 35 offices across the U.S. Earlier this year, it opened an office in London. As of December 31, the firm was responsible for about $95 billion in client assets across its three business segments: the Rockefeller Global Family Office (including Private Wealth Management and Family Office), Rockefeller Asset Management and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory.
