Rockefeller Capital Management has added a former Merrill Lynch team in Palm Beach, Fla., as it continues to expand its global family office, according to a news release.

Harvan McKenzie Wealth Partners is led by managing directors and private advisors David Harvan and James McKenzie. They are joined by senior client relationship manager and Vice President Sandra Stiger and team investment strategist and Vice President Alexander Villacampa.

The team, which will join the Southeast Division headed by Divisional Director Kristen Sario,  was ranked No. 66 on the 2023 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams list. According to the list, the team managed $503 million in assets under management.

Harvan had been with Merrill Lynch since 1999, when he began his career, according to BrokerCheck. McKenzie began his career with Citigroup Global Markets in 1998 and moved to Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2009. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2012. McKenzie also was ranked No. 112 on the 2023 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisors’ list.

This is the fourth team this month that Rockefeller has hired. The others include teams from UBS ($963 million in assets), Janney Scott Montgomery ($740 million in assets) and Wells Fargo ($270 million in assets) 

Established in 2018, Rockefeller Capital Management offers services in 46 locations across the U.S. and one in London. As of June 30, the firm was responsible for $112 billion in client assets across its three businesses, Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Asset Management and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory.
