Carson’s separate advisor coaching network currently works with 1,285 advisor firms.
Carson left LPL Financial in 2017 after 27 years and joined Cetera Advisors Networks. This claim is the first in 15 years.

That March 2004 arbitration claim was brought by clients seeking $20,000, alleging the mutual funds Carson had sold them were “unsuitable and not properly diversified.” The clients withdrew the claim, which Carson vigorously denied, according to FINRA BrokerCheck.

“The Rep strongly denies the allegations and maintains that all investment and fee issues were fully disclosed to, and understood by, the client,” the FINRA record shows.

A month earlier, in February 2004, former clients of Carson won damages of $50,000 from a 2002 arbitration seeking $12 million.

The client accused Carson and LPL of negligence, negligent supervision, misrepresentations, and breach of contract involving "action taken or not taken regarding Level 3 stock and Level 3 option positions.”
