John Carruth has been hired as a senior regional director with the branch office development recruiting team at Securities America. Carruth will focus on the Southern U.S., including Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
Most recently, Carruth was a senior vice president of national recruiting for Williams Financial Group in Dallas. He began his career as a recruiter with GE Capital and later became a senior investment advisor and senior recruiter with JP Morgan Chase.
Roger Verboon has been promoted to director of practice succession and acquisition. Verboon, who joined Securities America in 1996, previously held the position of senior practice management consultant, which included coaching advisors in the company’s Next Level, Associate Advisor and Jump Start Marketing programs. He also led the creation of the firm’s Practice Transition Center, which is a library of training videos, case studies and other tools that help advisors create and implement continuity, succession and acquisition plans.
