Financial advisors Austin Nold and Christian Bryant, operating as Nold Bryant, have launched an independent practice in partnership with Integrated Partners, a registered investment advisor headquartered in the Boston suburb of Waltham, Mass., the companies announced.

Based in St. Joseph, Mo., the advisor duo and their team of Jake Wallingford, associate wealth planner; Kelly Petersen, client services manager; and Hillary Worley, client experience lead, were formerly employees of Stifel Financial Corp., headquartered in St. Louis. As an independent business, Nold Bryant oversees $200 million in client assets.

According to Rob Sandrew, chief growth officer of Integrated Partners, as an affiliate partner, the newly independent Nold Bryant practice can immediately leverage his firm’s network of service providers.

“Our CPA Alliance ... has been successfully partnering financial advisors with CPAs for more than 25 years,” he said in the news release. “[It] is one of the many benefits that Austin and Christian can add to their current practice. These two have great visions for their futures, [as] well as having their clients’ best interest at heart.”

Nold said that he and his team chose to affiliate with Integrated Partners based on a complementary culture.

“We sought a partner that mirrored the same values that we do: consistent, transparent communication, possessing high integrity, and always acting in the best interests of our clients,” Nold said in a prepared statement. “Integrated Partners fit that bill and surpassed our expectations because the entire firm exudes a familial culture, treating each client as if they are your only client.”

In separate emails, Nold and Bryant discussed their decision to seek partnered independence with a larger affiliate firm.

“We set out to align ourselves with partners that allowed us to be fiduciaries on all accounts,” Nold, CEO and senior planner of Nold Bryant, said. “We only considered partners where we could increase our resources for clients without increasing costs.”

Bryant, president and CIO of Nold Bryant, said that client service has always been paramount to the way the practice does business.

“Whether it was when we were at Stifel or in the independent world with Nold Bryant, we have always prided ourselves on the fact that clients can expect warmth, competency, and efficiency from their interactions with us,” he said.
