Lean In was founded by Sandberg to empower women in the workplace and encourage them to take leadership roles. In response to what may be a backlash to the #MeToo movement, Lean In has started #MentorHer, a campaign to encourage more men to mentor women in the workplace.
The Lean In study was conducted by SurveyMonkey in two consecutive polls, one from Jan. 23 to Jan. 25 among 2,950 employed U.S. adults, and another from Feb. 1 to Feb. 4 among 5,907 employed U.S. adults.
