The Colony Group, a Boston-based independent registered investment advisor, has promoted seven employees to the position of principal, the company said in a news release.

Senior Wealth Advisor Indrika Arnold, an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience, provides ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families with financial planning services, while also working with the Family Office team to develop and refine its client services. Arnold received a Bachelor of Science degree from Keene State College, and a M.S. degree in financial planning from Bentley University – McCallum Graduate School of Business. She is based in the firm’s Concord, N.H. office.

Senior Wealth Advisor Ian Cole provides wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporate executives, as well as investment advisory services to institutional clients such as endowments and non-profit organizations. Cole earned a B.A. degree in economics from Boston University. He is based in the firm’s Hingham, Mass., office.

Senior Wealth Advisor Matthew C. Gordon provides wealth management and investment advisory services to high-net-worth families and corporate executives. Gordon attended Ithica College. He is based in the firm’s Boston office.

As deputy chief of staff, Jeanie M. Kirkiles works closely with the firm’s CEO, COO, and CFO, supporting the daily management, administrative, and operational function of The Colony Group. She is based in Boston.

Senior Wealth Advisor Sheryl A. Rothman provides wealth management and financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and their families. She is also an advocate for Colony’s "Her Wealth" initiative, which seeks to empower women with the confidence and financial resourcers needed to take control of their financial lives. Rothman received a B.S.E. degree in organizational management, decision sciences from the Wharton School, and a M.B.A. degree in finance, accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is based in the firm’s Babylon, N.Y., office on Long Island.

As director of Colony’s Family Office Services, Paul Shapero leads a team of financial professionals who provide family office and financial management services to current and retired sports professionals, entertainers, individuals, and families. He attended the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). Shapero is based in the firm’s Bethesda, Md., office.

Senior Wealth Advisor Connor Sullivan provides wealth management and investment advisory services to individuals, multi-generational families, and corporate executives. He earned a B.A. degree in history from Colby College. Sullivan, who has been with the company nearly a decade, is based in Boston.

The seven new Colony principals join 82 other principals at the firm.
