This situation shows the benefit of a real public market system, where many buyers and sellers are setting prices. The wisdom of crowds is certainly not infallible, but most of the time it works. Just as it seems to be doing now. With all of us trying to figure things out, we get closer than any of us—smart money or not—could do alone.
