A new global ranking has identified the universities that do the best job at teaching business and economics.

The 2019 Times Higher Education World University Rankings assessed 585 universities that have at least 5 percent of its academic staff or at least 50 academic staff in the business/economics discipline.

The leading institutions in business and management, accountant and finance, and economics an econometrics were scored by factors including student enrollment, student and staff ratio, and percentage of international students.

The following universities, in ascending order, were deemed the best in the world in the business/economics area:

10. University of Pennsylvania

Penn’s Wharton School offers programs in economics, accounting and finance. The ratio of students to staff is 6 to 4.
