Once clients know that you understand exactly how they are feeling, they are much more receptive to your rational counter-argument. Give them some suggested “self-talk” to use whenever this insecurity or fear of the future creeping up. 

Show your genuine interest in their well-being by encouraging follow-up calls, in-office meetings, etc.  As you know, they are your most valued assets and their psychological well-being is partially in your hands!
