Transamerica Corporation has appointed division Vice President Darren Zino to the position of national sales director for mid-market retirement plans. He will report to Joe Boan, chief sales officer for Transamerica.
In his new role, Zino will direct wholesale distribution of retirement plans with $50 million or less in assets. Transamerica maintains a team of approximately 50 wholesale specialists nationwide, focused solely on marketing mid-market retirement plans to new and established clients. Zino has two decades of experience in retirement plans.
