Hightower said they have found that the inclusive solution, particularly those focused on racial equity, has garnered widespread interest across all investors, which opens the door for the possibility of allied investors. “We see every investor that is not racially and ethnically diverse as a potential allied investor and we know that market is significant,” she said. “We are not just excited about the immediate opportunity for us, but what’s to come.”

Hightower said the bottom line is UBS recognizes that the wealth exists within the multicultural segment. “We see the wealth out there and we make no apologies as a business for going after what is an incredible opportunity,” she said.

She added that other investment firms will be remiss not to see it that way because that is where the future of wealth is going. “If we want to remain relevant as financial institutions, we have to engage clients, particularly multicultural clients,” she said.
