Former Merrill Lynch financial advisor Rick McDonald, a former pro golfer, has joined Viridian Advisors of Bothell, Wash.
McDonald’s uncle was a portfolio manager at Vanguard for over 30 years before going on to start his own mutual fund.
“After meeting Rick, it was a no-brainer that he should join us at Viridian,” said Adriel Tam, CEO and founding shareholder of Viridian Advisors.
