Vise, an AI-powered investment management platform for financial advisors, has appointed Andrew Fong to the position of chief technology officer, the company recently announced in a news release.

For the past eight years, Fong worked for Dropbox, where he most recently served as vice president of infrastructure engineering, leading a team of more than 250 engineers. Fong has also led senior engineering teams at YouTube and AOL.

In his new role with Vise, Fong will lead the company’s core technical teams and oversee the development and execution of the its road map. Fong will also spearhead the growth of Vise's engineering department, scaling the team from 20 to 75 people by the end of 2021.

Founded in 2016 by Samir Vasavada and Runik Mehrotra, Vise is headquartered in New York City.
