WBI Investments, an institutional and private client wealth management firm, announced its hiring of Joseph Merlo as director of sales.
Based in Red Bank, N.J., WBI manages about $2 billion in client assets.
Merlo joins the practice with seven years of experience at Lord Abbett & Company, where he supervised independent advisors in the bank and RIA channels in the Northeast region. Merlo also brings experience from the private wealth management division of Oppenheimer & Company and Maxim Group.
