AlphaTrAI, a technology-based company that provides artificial intelligence solutions for the wealth management industry, has added Henrik Christensen, an academic expert in robotics and AI, to its board of directors, the firm announced today.

A native of Denmark, Christensen currently serves as the Qualcomm chancellor's chair of robot systems, and a distinguished professor of computer science at the University of California San Diego. An author, Christensen is the main editor of the U.S. National Robotics Roadmap.

Led by CEO Bill Dwyer, former president of LPL Financial, AlphaTrAI, based in San Diego, applies artificial intelligence to deliver business solutions and products to the wealth and asset management industry. The firm develops AI-driven investment products and solutions for family offices, RIA firms and institutional asset managers.
