A Wells Fargo advisor team with nearly $505 million in client assets is leaving to join Raymond James’ traditional employee broker-dealer.

Mark Griffin and Mark Liley will join Jarrod Biebel and Robert Campbell, who operate as First Avenue Wealth Partners of Raymond James & Associates.

Griffin has 44 years of industry experience and spent 15 years with Wells Fargo before joining Raymond James. Mark Liley has 15 years of financial services experience and joined Wells Fargo in 2003. They provide wealth management services to business owners, high-net-worth individuals, endowments and foundations.

Also joining Raymond James through its Financial Institutions Division is Sturdy Financial Services, a retail wealth management group at Sturdy Savings Bank, which services Cape May and Atlantic counties in New Jersey. The group includes three advisors, Chris Shoemaker, Gregg Reich and Nichol Hoff, and two registered client services associates, Jane Vieth and Ashley Moore. They manages roughly $168 million in client assets.

Prior to their partnership with Raymond James, the three advisors were affiliated with Cetera for 11 years.
