"What kind of man spends millions to elect Ted Cruz?" Despite the lack of documented spoken and written word from Mercer himself, he sounds like an incredibly intelligent, successful, wealthy and patriotic citizen who has made a good investment in Senator Cruz. All well within the law and within his right to do so. To try and paint him in the same corner as nefarious characters such as Robinson and others mentioned in the piece, reminds me of the typical left wing smear campaigns we've witnessed from the Clinton and Obama political hack teams. Guess it depends on whose ox is being gored.
