Oh, my! Lots of sunshine in these beautiful places. NOT. Why so many cold, northern climates? There's only one state on that list I would even VISIT, let alone retire to. There's a reason these states may be on a list such as this: No one wants to live there until they die! Arkansas has the Clinton Library and massage parlor, along with a rumored, great number of interfamily marriages. Utah is what, 80% Mormon, a religion some view as a cult. Michigan is nearly bankrupt and has the largest % Muslim inhabitants of any state. Wyoming, Idaho & South Dakota are empty and too close to the biggest underground volcano in North America. Delaware may be good for incorporation, but retirement is unappealing. Wisconsin has the Packers and cheeseheads, but only one month remotely appealing weather. New Hampshire and Vermont should be merged into one state; call it Verhampshire or Newmont. North & South Dakota could easily combine as just Dakota. There are probably more children named Dakota in America than there are inhabitants of both states combined. Delaware and Rhode Island should be counties, not states. They'd never make the cut if we had another Revolution.
Wow! Swing and a miss on this article. Can someone pick another 10?
