If the majority of female clients "wanted" female advisors it would happen. This article becomes an opinion piece pretending to be informational. This is the editors job to ensure facts are cited. Readership declines because there is very little real information presented, just the opinion of those with a bone to pick. Works cited is a reference list of all the sources you actually used while writing your paper. If nothing is cited, its the author's opinion.
