AIG Advisor Group ia giving its 6,000 advisors tools to study and manage their clients by generation.

The Advisor Business Intelligence platform will provide information for advisors about the financial views and goals that characterize different generations, as well as information on how to communicate with members of each generation, AIG says.

The platform will help advisors identify cross-selling opportunities within their book of business and allow them to compare themselves to other advisors within their broker-dealer, within AIG and within the industry as a whole, the company says.

Also including benchmarking, goal-setting and reporting tools, the platform is for advisors affiliated with AIG’s broker-dealers—FSC Securities Corporation, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial and Woodbury Financial Services.

It also allows advisors to set and track business goals for themselves and their firm and segment clients by gender, geography and asset size, AIG says.
