Athens, Ga.-based Cannon Financial Institute has hired Brian Fowler as chief strategy officer. Fowler most recently worked with Raymond James, where he led their branch integration-training project. Prior to that, he served as the director of Morgan Keegan’s wealth management services department, where he was responsible for the management and marketing of the firm’s advisory programs and services.
