Queen Elizabeth, who is celebrating her Diamond Jubilee with 60 years on the throne, is worth $510 million, according to Wealth-X, an amount that more than doubles that of the next in the line of succession, her son Prince Charles.

The top 14 in the line of succession have a combined worth of $1 billion, according to Wealth-X, a global ultra-high-net-worth prospecting, intelligence and due diligence firm.

First in the line of succession and second in wealth is Prince Charles with $210 million, followed by Prince Andrew at $75 million; Prince Edward at $45 million, and Princess Anne at $30 million. Prince Charles's sons, who are next in the line of succession, are Prince William, valued at $19 million, and Prince Henry at $16.

Only the top five wealthiest members of the royal family are considered to be in the ultra-high-net-worth category by Wealth-X's standards.

"The fact that the combined wealth of the top 14 members only reached $1 billion reflects what has been suspected for some time: that new wealth is overtaking old wealth in Britain," said Mykolas D. Rambus, CEO of Wealth-X.
