Boston-based Putnam Investments has launched a campaign to help advisors and clients navigate some of the challenges of today’s markets.

Called “Maneuver in Markets,” the program will provide advisors with a stream of timely observations and perspectives to help them understand the rapidly changing market and create potential investment strategies that help clients achieve financial goals.

Putnam says low interest rates, high volatility and geopolitical instability are three of the major challenges facing advisors today.

“In recognizing that meticulous investment research and flexible management strategies are crucial to helping investors 'maneuver in markets,' we will be bringing a new dimension to our dialogue with the marketplace this year,” said Robert Reynolds, Putnam’s president and CEO. “As a firm that has spent years piloting investors through virtually every type of investment climate, we are committing the full force of our resources and best thinking to help advisors steer their clients through these times.”

The campaign is designed around four "key" challenges facing advisors and investors: navigating interest rates with active rate strategies, expanding short-term choices to preserve client options and capital, diversifying to reduce risk and manage volatility, and pursuing greater returns by evaluating the performance potential of equities.

Putnam will regularly deliver content through different vehicles, including updates on www.putnam.com, video commentary, webinars, white papers, social media posts and digital and print advertising, to support advisors on the most topical issues of the day.
