Squire Patton Boggs announced the appointment of senior tax fund and trust lawyer Patricia Woo to its Hong Kong office.

Woo, previously at King & Wood Mallesons, is experienced in helping ultra-high-net-worth families set up and operate family offices, and in fund formation, succession and tax planning matters, according to the law firm.

“Patricia is a talented lawyer, well-known and respected for her work in the private wealth sector, particularly in the family office space," said James Tsang, managing partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Hong Kong. "We are seeing increasing demand from ultra-high-net-worth families with family office and international tax issues and Patricia’s experience will further strengthen our capabilities in this field.”
