A Texas financial advisor duo managing $1.8 billion in client assets have left J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank for UBS Private Wealth Management, according to a news release.
John Farrell and Joel East have several years of experience working with ultra-wealthy individuals and families, the release said.
Farrell began his career in 2011 at J.P. Morgan Securities, according to his BrokerCheck profile. He held various positions at the firm and played a key role in growing its presence throughout the Permian Basin, the release said. He services clients in Fort Worth and throughout West Texas.
East, according to his BrokerCheck profile, began his career in 2006 at Chase Investment Services Corp., and moved to J.P. Morgan in 2011. There, he held various roles in investments and portfolio management, the release said.
Paige Hicks, the Fort Worth branch manager at UBS Wealth Management USA, said the bank is excited that Farrell and East have joined the firm. “Their experience and dedication to their clients will be a great addition to our business. We look forward to working with them and continuing to expand our client offering in this key market,” she said in a statement.
