Financial advisors James “Jim” Trimpe and Timothy Stolt were recruited to Raymond James & Associates (RJA), Inc., the firm’s traditional employee broker-dealer in Louisville, Ky., according to Van Thompson, Mid-Atlantic regional director for RJA. Client service associate Lori Rupe will join the advisors at Raymond James from Wells Fargo Advisors.

Trimpe managed approximately $130 million in client assets at Wells Fargo and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Trimpe began his career at Prudential Financial in 1985 and moved to J.C. Bradford & Co., before working for Wells Fargo. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Bloomington.

Stolt joined Trimpe’s team in 2015 as a financial advisor. Prior to the move, Stolt worked for PNC Bank N.A. for years gaining tax credit and finance experience. He received his bachelor’s degree from Murray State and his MBA from Bellarmine University.

Rupe has over 27 years of financial services experience. At Wells Fargo, she served as a client associate after spending 15 years at Merrill Lynch as a registered client associate and branch manager’s assistant.
