Steward Partners Global Advisory LLC has three new firm members who were formerly at Wells Fargo.
Steward announced the new firm members are Alan Raffer, director; Sherry Birnbaum CFP, senior vice president; and Jeremy Raffer, senior vice president, all of the Raffer Investment Group.
Steward Partners is a full-service independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services Inc. The Raffer group managed more than $170 million in client assets while at Wells Fargo.
The advisor team will be based in the newest Steward Advisory office located in Paramus, N.J. The Paramus office officially opened in November. Since November 2013, Steward Partners has added more than 90 advisors with $62 million in 12-month production and more than $8.5 billion in total client assets.
Raffer brings more than 40 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Raffer spent his career at Wells Fargo and its predecessor firms. His son Jeremy Raffer partnered with his father 10 years ago, forming the Raffer Investment Group. Birnbaum joined the team a year ago after being with Wells Fargo for 15 years.
