Three Cords Wealth Management Advisors, a financial planning and wealth management practice in Houston, has gone independent by affiliating with Integrated Partners, the companies announced today in a news release.

Three Cords was formerly with Northwestern Mutual, where the practice managed approximately $200 million in client assets. As an Integrated affiliate, Three Cords will adopt a fee-only RIA model, and has selected Fidelity as its custodian of record.

The Three Cords team, led by principals Kevin Kyle, Jody Johnston and Bryce Burch, also includes Kayla Davenport, Georgia Robinson, Megan Garcia, Kyle Fritz and Betty Wohlgemuth.

Three Cords is the first Texas team to join Integrated’s national financial planning, advisory and CPA network, nudging the Waltham, Mass.-based firm past the $8 billion mark in total advisory and brokerage assets. The Three Cords affiliation also makes the RIA side of Integrated’s business the organization's fastest-growing segment.
