Eight advisors joined LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and RIA platforms, according to a news release.
Seven of the advisors algined with Paradaigm Wealth Partners in Des Moines, Iowa, a newly minted office of supervisory jurisdiction (OSJ) headed by manager and advisor Mike Sisco.
Sisco, in Des Moines, Iowa, and six of his seven-advisor team were formerly with Sagepoint Financial, part of the Advisor Group network of broker-dealers: the Larson family - Sandra Larson, Steven Larson, Casey Larson - and Timothy Frey in Edina, Minn.; David Scott in Cuero, Tex.; and Michael Lynch in Geneva, Neb. Rick Yoder, also in Des Moines, Iowa, was formerly with Ameriprise.
Together, they manage approximately $260 million in brokerage and advisory assets.
Sisco launched his career as an OSJ manager in 2011 after holding previous positions in home office supervision for a large firm, building both his OSJ network and client base through referrals.
Sisco and his team primarily work with clients who are within 10 years of retirement, he said in he news release.
“Individuals who have built a nest egg and are looking to turn it into something to get them through the retirement years,” Sisco said.
Sisco said that he and his team make it a point to work with their clients’ children, hoping to plant seeds that will cultivate a new generation of clientele.
