Begnaud Wealth Management Group has joined Janney Montgomery Scott LLC in Mount Laurel, N.J., the companies announced today.

The three-person, father-daughter team of Gary Begnaud, financial advisor, executive vice president/wealth management; Amy Begnaud, financial advisor, vice president/wealth management; and Angela Gavin, senior registered private client associate, join Janney from Merrill Lynch, where they managed close to $430 million in client assets, a spokesman said.

Industry veteran Gary Begnaud has four decades of experience, and holds the chartered retirement planning counselor and certified divorce financial analyst designations. He graduated from the University of Delaware, where he received his bachelor’s degree in finance.

Amy Begnaud joined her father at Merrill Lynch in 2014. She holds the certified financial planner, certified divorce financial analyst and certified plan fiduciary advisor designations. Amy received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and graduated with distinction from Rider University, where she earned a master’s degree.

“The firm’s stability and strong platform will allow us to keep the entrepreneurial spirit of our business, while growing and adapting to the changing landscape and preferences of today’s clients,” Gary Begnaudsaid.

Bob Hoey, Janney branch manager and executive vice president, said in the news release that the team brought more than 70 years of wealth management experience together with a strong reputation for working with clients to achieve each one’s individual goals.

“We look forward to providing them with the resources they need to exceed client expectations,” he said.
