Statuta began his career in 1996, when he joined Putnam Retail Management LP. He left six years later to work for Pioneer Funds Distributor Inc., then moved over to Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he worked for 11 years before joining the team at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2016.
Statuta received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College.
Sisk said in an email response for comment that foundations and endowments made up about 20 percent of his firm’s business, so comprehensive in-house trust and banking services, which Raymond James provides, were important to his team.
“We also appreciated that Raymond James has a robust technology platform and offers agency-style marketing support,” he said.
