What does your firm do/offer within the fintech sector?

We unlock the barriers using our cloud-based technology platform, BondNav, to provide an aggregated view and full access to the bond market which makes it more profitable and efficient for the participants, including advisors, institutions and issuers.

What area/s of fintech do you believe will grow the most in the coming 5 years?

Two dimensions come to mind immediately. The first is around speed and ease and the second is around value or perhaps quality. 

Within banking and even brokerage, the ease of use and increased velocity on transactional work. I think the mobile aspect will become the default and the consumer will have more choice and never need to enter a bank branch at all - except to visit the safe deposit box. So perhaps branding will matter once again in a big way. In financial services the procurement of product or service will become more competitive as technology breaks down the information and access barriers. The financial advisors will have the wherewithal to do better for their clients by accessing tech driven solutions that take out the inefficiencies.  The aspect of curation will be important to create relevance and remove the white noise.

What has been the biggest success in your firm to date?

We are driving value - through our mission of transforming the fixed income markets through technology and aggregating the entire bond market on our BondNav platform.  Our success can be measured in the improved pricing delivered - to advisors and institutions.  Our ability to connect with hundreds of RIA firms and be able to provide liquidity to the institutions - is getting noticed - and that is rewarding to each of us. Our goal is to continue to show more firms (advisors & institutions) the value of our marketplace through our BondNav platform.
