The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. is offering funeral planning services at no additional charge for employees who work for companies that add group life insurance coverage to their employee benefits package.
Called Life Conversations from The Hartford, the service allows employees to make funeral arrangements well in advance through Everest Funeral. The service also negotiates funeral costs for the employee to save money. Additional information is available at www.thehartford.com.
Franklin Templeton Creates International Fund
Franklin Templeton Investments is introducing an international fund for U.S. investors designed for capital appreciation, with income as a secondary goal.
The Mutual International Fund will focus on the undervalued securities of large-cap and midcap companies and, to a lesser extent, merger arbitrage and distressed securities.
The fund strategy is to invest primarily in Europe and developed Asian countries using a bottom-up selection process.
