The Financial Planning Association is looking for
members willing to participate in its latest compensation and staffing
benchmark study.
The biennial study-conducted by the FPA, Moss Adams
LLP and SEI Advisor Network- looks into the recruiting, retention,
compensation and staffing practices of financial planning firms.
All participants in the study will receive a hard copy edition of the
final study at no cost, as well as a summary report comparing their
firm's results with the rest of respondents. All respondent information
is confidential and participation is free.
"This study helps all types of financial planners,
from small solo practitioners to those in large firms, better
understand the business of financial planning, better understand what
it takes to succeed as a financial planner," says Sean Walters, group
director of Knowledge Management and Community for FPA. "The more
financial planners who participate in this study the better and more
useful the results will be for all those involved in the financial
planning profession."
