During a ceremony today at the Schwab Impact 2006 Conference in Washington, D.C., Schwab Institutional announced that its first Best in Tech Impact Award went to RegentAtlantic Capital, LLC.
Schwab Institutional, a leading provider of custodial, trading, and operational services to independent fee-based and fee-only investment advisors, created the new award to annually honor advisors and firms that have advanced the profession through their technological excellence.
Regent Atlantic of Chatham, N.J., was selected by a panel of judges that included Kurt Cerulli, a principal at Cerulli Associates; David Tittsworth, executive director, Investment Advisor Association; Marv Tuttle, executive director and CEO of the Financial Planning Association (FPA); Frederick Reicheld, Bain Fellow, Bain and Company, and Dan Leemon, former executive vice president and chief strategy officer, The Charles Schwab Corporation. Impact Award entries were compiled and scored by Moss Adams LLP, an accounting and consulting firm with headquarters in Seattle.
